Positive relative to preregistered hypothesis — the primary outcome met its predefined threshold under the planned analysis.

Exploratory finding — an unplanned observation, reported for hypothesis generation only.
Reports describe measured outcomes relative to preregistered hypotheses. The project does not claim to prove or disprove survival after death, and no report will be framed that way.
How results are named and worded
The measured quantity is recorded and published as continuity_index or observed_cross_session_continuity. A continuity index is a correlational measure of cross-session structure relative to a control distribution. It does not show that one session causally depends on another, that the same person is present, or that survival after death has occurred.
Wording we use
- Within-target sessions showed greater correspondence than the between-target control distribution.
- Observed continuity index was +0.18.
- Cross-session challenge performance exceeded the preregistered baseline.
Wording we never use
- Lambda was detected.
- Identity persisted.
- The same consciousness was present.
- Survival was demonstrated.
Even a robust positive continuity effect would leave multiple possible explanations, including ordinary information leakage not detected by the protocol, shared response structure, anomalous information access without continuing identity, or genuine continuity of an individuated source. Distinguishing among these interpretations requires additional evidence.
Continuity similarity is not numerical personal identity. The question asked is whether independently generated sessions attributed to the same target are more structured and mutually continuous than appropriate controls — not whether similarity means the same person.
